Mitch
Mitch is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Board Certified Master Arborist and ISA Certified Tree Climber with his ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ).
He serves both the ISA and Minnesota Society of Arboriculture (MSA) as an evaluator for the Certified Tree Climber credential and works to create accessibility and inclusiveness for the credential. Mitch has volunteered as a coordinator for local MSA events, and recently volunteered as an event timer for the 2024 International Tree Climbing Championships in Savannah, Georgia.
Mitch believes that trees are our future.
Mitch is also a member of the American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA) and has earned his ASCA Tree and Plant Appraisal Qualification (TPAC). He has performed arboricultural consulting in the form of diagnosis, appraisals, advanced risk assessments, and as an expert witness.
He is dedicated to promoting plant awareness and understands his role as an arborist to be a manager of the format in which we interact with nature daily. Through Arborwise, Mitch and Kayli donate thousands of dollars of trees a year to schools, parks, trails, and churches. For Mitch, trees are the ultimate biotechnology, mental medicine, and source of wonder.

Kayli
Kayli transitioned from health care to tree care and still works supplementally as an inpatient Registered Nurse at Rochester’s Mayo Clinic.
After becoming an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist, Kayli’s patients are now primarily plants, with her focus in arboriculture being tree health services/plant health care. Kayli’s passion for plants guides her interests in soil science, plant pathology, and holistic approaches to the care and preservation of trees.
Kayli believes that trees are for everyone.
Kayli volunteers alongside the EcoFest Foundation, Inc. for the Great River Ridge Trail Canopy Project, an initiative to bring shade, beauty, and wildlife habitat to a regional trail in southeastern Minnesota.
Spending time in nature holds a special significance for her and is a format for forming deeper bonds with herself and others. She advocates for trees, and to decrease barriers to scientific understanding and knowledge of proper practices. For Kayli, trees form the habitat of connection.

Corey
Corey is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist and holds his ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ).
He holds his Electrical Hazards Awareness Program (EHAP) qualification under the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) and is a Certified Minnesota Tree Inspector. Corey has competed in multiple Minnesota Tree Climbing Championships and has served as a volunteer firefighter for his local municipality.
Corey believes trees are an important part of our ecosystem and sees them both for their challenges and solutions.
Corey started his career in arboriculture in 1998 after a tornado passed through his hometown. A local tree service called him to help with response efforts, and Corey has been “in the trees” ever since. Corey has worked as a lead arborist for multiple large and regional organizations, including as crew chief for the City of Rochester Forestry Department for nearly a decade. He has cultivated a wide reputation for skill and excellence as a production arborist, including a specialization in crane-assisted removal. He values passing his knowledge on to the next generation of arborists of Arborwise.
Corey enjoys the endless puzzles presented by arboriculture and likes problem solving unique situations with his combination of knowledge and skill.
